4.Engine performance

1) Engine performance of LH41LA-3500PS

Fig.4 shows performance curve of LH41L engine developing output of 3500PS.

The engine showed running performance as well as expected. The data measured when the engine operates at 100% load is as follows:

Cylinder maximum pressure is l40kgf/cm2, fuel consumption is 131.8g/PSh,

charged air temperature is 33 C, exhaust gas temperature is 306C at cylinder

outlet and 458C at turbocharger inlet.

The result of temperature measurement is shown in Fig.5.

Emission of NOx was measured to be less than E3 required value.
